5Excellent Jogging/Running Stroller
By BrooklynDad
Before I bought the Ironman, I tried a less expensive running stroller (Kelty speedster) and was very disappointed. It was a little difficult to unfold and had some sharp edges and finger pinching hazards on some of the parts. Worst of all it pulled very hard to the right when jogging and despite a badly-designed front-wheel alignment adjustment, it could not be corrected. After having it veer into bicycle and car traffic a couple times, I returned it for a refund.
My only reservation in buying the Ironman was that I'd read that the handlebar could not be adjusted for height. I'm 6' 3" so I thought this would be an important feature. I bought it anyway, and it's been amazing:

The handlebar height is fine for both me and my wife (she's much shorter than I am)
The front wheel alignment adjustment is very effective - it was very easy to get it rolling perfectly straight
I can unfold it easily with one arm.
Lightweight - we live in a 2nd floor walk-up in Brooklyn and i can carry it upstairs easily
Comfortable for my son - He's tall and weighs 35lb
Didn't think we really needed the shock-absorbers, but they are very nice - particularly when going over curbs, steps, etc.
It has a bicycle-type brake on the handlebar - this took a bit of adjustment to get it to work the way I wanted, but is a very nice feature when going down steep hills (out of breath)
All of the parts /construction feel very high quality
Large wheel size makes a big difference, it almost feels like it's rolling itself along
Sun shade / cover is very effective and easy to retract fully.
Can be a little challenging to get around the grocery store but the storage layer under the seat is very useful and holds a lot
Very easy to steer, well balanced so it doesn't take a lot of effort to redirect it
Comfortable running either behind or along-side

Overall, I highly recommend this stroller.

5If baby could talk, she'd say "Smoooooooooooth."
By SpyCGee
I'm very happy with the Ironman. You can see it's a well built stroller and know it will last through the years. It's definitely used only for jogging/running though. Use while walking is difficult since the front tire does not swivel. But you will get used to picking up the front tire and setting it down when angling to turn. Even if you drop the front tire it doesn't rattle the baby. When running, its easy to give it a knudge to curve a certain direction; and the faster you go, the easier it is to curve.

My daughter is 5 months and fits well in the seat and 5 point harness. The seat does not angle up to 90 degrees and does not completely recline flat. But it has a comfortable lean to it. Well at least it looks like it does.

The canopy has great coverage. My infant very rarely gets the sun in her eyes (even in the evenings) and still allows a great view of the road ahead. It might be my favorite feature.

Sometimes it needs alignment (probably because I drag the front tire for turns) but the instruction manual has directions on how to fix that. No problemo.

"Assembly" is only attaching the tires. 15 mins, tops.

Yes, it's bulky and a little on the heavy side, but that doesn't override the reason I got it; to safely/smoothly carry my baby, keep up with her parents and last throughout the years.

5Best jogging stroller I've tried- Lightweight!
By mommahyde
We actually bought our BOB Ironman second hand off of Craigslist a little over two years ago. We have absolutely LOVED this product and have practically worn the tires off of it! It is still in great shape after the first owners ran consistently with it and our frequent use. We use it to run about 10-15 miles a week with either our two year old or our two month old. I started using it when our daughter was four weeks old. I just pop a Kiddopotomus newborn insert into the seat. It supports her head completely even while being jostled about.

I ran with my sister who had a Jeep brand jogger and we switched strollers halfway through just to test each other's out. MAN was that thing heavy compared to the BOB. And our kids are three weeks apart so it wasn't on account of a heavier baby. Hers had an MP3 player attachment and a little more fancy storage options but really couldn't compare to the BOB due to the weight difference.

PROS:
-Lightweight!
-Super simple collapse motion
-Plenty of storage for snacks/water/sippy cups/jacket without being bulky
-Goes anywhere (rocks, forest trails, gravel, cobblestones, etc)

CONS:
-Maneuverability in tight spaces is less than desirable but if you're outside running, how often are you in tight spaces?
-Could have used a 'parking brake' a time or two on a hill instead of just the hand brake that slows you down.
-I can't think of anything else.

If you are really going to run with it, the BOB is totally worth the price. Especially if you run (or walk) on anything other than smooth paved sidewalks.
